Война форматов оптических дисков продолжается. Титаны вроде Toshiba и Sony бьются за форматы, вышедшие на рынок, а те кто помельче анонсируют диски других форматов, которые якобы будут дешевле и лучше. Производители предлагают новые приводы, а нам, пользователям, остается пока лишь выбирать между Blu-Ray и HD-DVD.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1189883916_hp_logo_big.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='HP «помирил» враждующие форматы' /></div><br />Однако, многие представляют компромиссные решения. К примеру, компания Hewlett-Packard обещает к октябрю начать поставки PC, оснащенных гибридным приводом, способным читать и записывать оба формата. Подобное решение раньше представляла LG, но ее модель GGW-H10N могла только читать HD-DVD, а вот Blu-Ray диски преспокойно записывала.<br /><br />О ценах пока речь не идет, да и предположить страшно: приводы пока стоят в районе $500, а сколько будет стоить комбо-привод с возможностью записи дисков обоих форматов, можно лишь догадываться.
