Одновременно с линейкой REGZA XF, Toshiba представила новую линейку REGZA Z, объявив ее «самой технологически совершенной коллекцией ЖК-телевизоров на сегодняшний день». Представители линейки имеют диагонали 37, 42, 47, 52 и 57 дюймов и поддерживают разрешение 1080p.
Вот перечень особенностей, которые позволяют компании говорить об исключительности своей коллекции:
- технология обработки изображения с частотой 100 Hz Active Vision M100HD,
- 10-битная система обработки цвета,
- технология Динамической Гамма-коррекции (Dynamic Gamma Curve Correction),
- динамический контраст новинок изменяется в пределах 6,500 - 15,000:1,
- яркость изображения 500кд/м2,
- широкий цветовой диапазон
Каждая панель снабжена секвенсором, который «продергивает» каждый видеокадр обеспечивая частоту развертки в 100 Hz. За звук отвечают акустические системы разработанные ONKYO, телевизионный прием обеспечивают новые цифровые тюнеры. За связь с остальной техникой отвечают три HDMI-разъема. «Продвинутые» новинки появятся на прилавках в сентябре уже в этом месяце, однако цена пока не известна.
