Blu-ray готовится к выставке IFA в Берлине

На этой недели начал свою работу выставка IFA в Берлине. Ассоциация Blu-ray собирается представить самый большой за всю историю выставочный стенд, посвященный HD.
Команда Blu-ray рассчитывает на то, что это событие станет ключевым в вопросе перехода от DVD к новому формату.
''Подобные масштабные мероприятия дают возможность продемонстрировать те преимущества, которые дает BD формат, а также представить оборудование и программное обеспечение, доступное уже сегодня и постоянно развивающееся дальше, особенно в вопросах интерактивности'', говорит Frank Simmons, председатель Европейского Комитета по развитию формата (BDA).
Уже сделано несколько заявлений от студий, таких как Fox и Disney, о выходе их продукции на Blu-ray с поддержкой интерактивных возможностей. BDA поддерживает и организует различные форумы разработчиков в содействии с Sun Microsystems, что является прекрасным способом проинформировать разработчиков о таких возможностях и технологиях.
BDA также обещает, что на выставке IFA будет представлен самый большой, когда-либо существовавший стенд, посвященный Blu-ray технологиям и продуктам, включая «железо», IT системы и программное обеспечение.
В прошлом году много представителей Голливудских студий посетили Берлин и получили интересующую для них информацию. В этом году BDA опять проведет подобную конференцию, на которой ведущие производители и разработчики обсудят формат.
