Согласно заявлениям разработчиков новые устройства для настольных компьютеров отличаются впечатляющими характеристиками чтения и записи Blu-ray дисков (на 100% больше по производительности), что должно сделать процесс прожигания столь объемных дисков менее затратным по времени процессом. Отметим также, что приводы полностью совместимы с форматами CD и DVD и стоимость каждого из устройств составляет около $600. В продаже уже сегодня.
