Компания Panasonic представила в Японии семь новых телевизоров Viera с поддержкой Full HD-разрешения: шесть новых плазменных ТВ с длинами диагоналей экрана от 42 до 65 дюймов и один ЖК-телевизор с диагональю 37 дюймов.<br /><br />Новые плазменные ТВ включают следующие модели: 42-дюймовую TH-42PZ750SK, 50-дюймовую TH-50PZ750SK, TH-58PZ750SK с длиной диагонали 58 дюймов и TH-65PZ750SK - 65 дюймов. Все эти модели являются первыми на рынке с поддержкой сервиса VoD (video-on-demand - видео по требованию). В этих устройствах использована новая панель Full-HD PEAKS с контрастностью 10000:1 и поддержкой высокой четкости движущихся объектов. По словам производителя, панель способна отображать более 900 линий даже во время динамических сцен. Телевизоры имеют по шесть трехполосных динамиков, включая два высокочастотных, два среднечастотных и два низкочастотных динамика с технологией Nano Bass Exciter.<br /><br />Также были анонсированы два плазменных телевизора серии PZ70: модель TH-42PZ70 с длиной диагонали 42 дюйма и TH-50PZ70 с 50-дюймовым экраном.
