В августе жители Туманного Альбиона увидят на прилавках новые 1080p ЖК-телевизоры Samsung.
LCD-панели 71-й серии представлены 40, 46 и 52-дюймовыми моделями. Все новинки поддерживают технологию Auto Motion Plus 120гц, которая удваивая стандартную частоту 60гц позволяет добиться исключительной четкости и мягкости изображения.

81-ю серию отличает от младшей наличие LED-подсветки, которая повышает уровень контрастности, а цвета становятся более сочными, нежели у обычных LCD-панелей. Линейка расширена за счет присутствия 57-дюймовой модели.
Каждая из новинок поддерживают новую технологию Motion Compensated Frame Interpolation (McFi), которая обеспечивает небывалую четкость изображения в динамичных сценах, добавляя интерполированные кадры между кадрами видеопотока, уменьшая размазывание картинки. По сообщению Samsung, в моделях с LED-подсветкой достигнута небывалая контрастность 100 000:1, что в четыре раза больше чем у матриц с обычной CCFL-подсветкой. У таких телевизоров есть уникальная возможность управлять подсветкой разных областей экрана, достигая небывало правдоподобного отображения черного цвета.
