LG Electronics представила новую линейку ультратонких плазменных телевизоров 42/50PC5 (с диагональю 42 и 50 дюймов) с неплохой контрастностью изображения 15 000:1 и поддержкой FullHD. Как заявляется производитель, телевизоры 42/50PС5 лишены традиционного недостатка плазм – трудности четкого изображения на темном фоне: при просмотре можно увидеть каждую деталь.<br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1186587996_55895.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='42&quot; и 50&quot; плазменные телевизоры LG' /></div><br /><br />Хотя многие компании в последнее время делают ставку на ЖК-телевизоры, отказываясь от плазмы. Согласно данным аналитиков из компании NPD Group, в 2006 году ЖК-телевизорам принадлежало 49% ТВ-рынка. Это значительно больше показателя 2005 года - 29%. Что касается плазменных панелей, их доля увеличилась за год с 5% до 10%. В то же время, сектор кинескопных телевизоров полностью оправдал ожидания специалистов и испытал значительное уменьшение объёмов производства, занимая к концу 2006 года 21% ТВ-рынка, по сравнению с 46% 2005 года.<br /><br />Что касается новинок от LG, то известно, что они оснащаются 2 разъемами HDMI, 1 компонентным и 2 SCART-разъемами. К сожалению, о других технических характеристиках, равно как и о предполагаемой цена на телевизоры информации пока не имеется.
