Компания Pioneer выпустила новый внутренний оптический накопитель BDR-202. Устройство способно записывать однослойные диски формата Blu-Ray (BD-R и BD-RE).

BDR-202 способен записывать диски BD-R и BD-RE на скорости 4x и 2x соотвественно. Максимальная скорость запись информации на носители предыдущих поколения - DVD-/+R, DVD-/+RW, и CD-R/RW составляет: 12x, 6x и 24x соотвественно.
