На днях представители компании LG объявили о начале поставок на территории Северной Америки новой линейки 20-дюймовых ЖК-мониторов FlatronWide L206WU, изготовленных с использованием технологий DisplayLink USB 2.0. Нужно сказать, что эти модели станут первыми USB-мониторами, получившими сертификацию Windows Vista.

Известно, что LG FlatronWide L206WU работает на базе наборов чипов DisplayLink DL-160, что позволяет получить картинку HD-качества даже при подключении устройства к ПК посредством USB. Монитор поддерживает разрешение до 1680×1050 точек. Матрица отличается показателями контрастности 3000:1 и углами обзора в 170 градусов. Инженеры компании утверждают, что использование интерфейса USB в качестве основного, в скором времени позволит пользователю одновременно подключить к одному ПК до 6 мониторов одновременно.
