Как правило, I квартал года характеризуется спадом ажиотажа вокруг телевизоров. Однако, даже несмотря на это, ЖК- и плазменных телевизоров с января по март текущего года было продано на 90% и 41% соответственно больше по сравнению с I кварталом 2006 г., считают аналитики iSuppli.<br /><br />К факторам роста аналитики относят агрессивную ценовую политику вендоров (стоимость некоторых ЖК-телевизоров уже сравнима с кинескопными), падение спроса на кинескопные телевизоры, желание покупателей приобретать устройства с большей диагональю и проникновение цифрового телевидения в массы. Еще одной причиной является то, что пользователи непременно находят новые места у себя дома, где можно установить новый ТВ, — в этом плане ЖК-телевизоры предпочтительнее, так как они имеют меньшие габариты по сравнению с кинескопными.<br /><br />Лидером I квартала 2007 г. стала корейская компания Samsung Electronics. Ее объемы производства выросли в штучном выражении на 37%, а доля рынка составила 11,6%. LG Electronics обосновался на втором месте, заняв 10,7%. Далее расположились компании TCL — 8%, Philips — 7,4% и Sony — 5,3%. Остальные 57% разделились между другими производителями. Всего за указанный период было продано 45,5 млн. телевизоров.<br /><br />По словам Эндрю Мюррэя (Andrew Murray), директора iSuppli по исследованию рынка систем отображения, успех Samsung кроется в грамотном распределении ресурсов и активной маркетинговой политике.<br /><br />Если ЭЛТ-телевизоры, по мнению аналитиков, не имеют будущего, то проекционные телевизоры эксперты "хоронить" не собираются. По их словам, выжить таким телевизорам на рынке поможет множество инновационных технологий. К ним относятся безэлектродные лампы и LED-источники света, а в будущем и лазеры, которые в целом продлят срок службы устройств и смогут повысить качество изображения. Еще одной перспективной технологией аналитики считают LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon), которой занимаются Sony и JVC, однако ее эффективность покажет время.
