Компания Gateway представила две линейки ноутбуков серий M и T с поддержкой стандарта HDTV, рассчитанных на применение в качестве домашнего развлекательного медиа-центра.

Все анонсированные новинки оборудованы интерфейсом HDMI и могут быть укомплектованы дискретной графической подсистемой на базе ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT, а также оптическим приводом Blu-Ray, HD DVD или DVD с щелевой загрузкой дисков. При этом представители обеих серий построены на базе мобильной технологии Intel Centrino с использованием процессоров Intel Core 2 Duo и оснащаются встроенной 1,3-мегапиксельной веб-камерой, равно как и модулем Wi-Fi c поддержкой протоколов 802.11a/b/g и 802.11n.

Ожидается, что первыми в продаже появятся модели Gateway M-6816 и Gateway T-6815 стоимостью от $900, оборудованные 15,4- и 14,1-дюймовыми дисплеями соответственно. А произойти это должно уже 22 числа этого месяца.
