Прошивка версии 1.82 должна появиться буквально на днях. Это заявление сделал глава PlayStation Network Эрик Лемпел на официальном блоге Sony Computer Entertainment America.<br /><br />Напомним, последняя прошивка для PS3 позволила консоли растягивать картинку при воспроизведении DVD, а также игр для PSone и PS2 до разрешения 1080p, также понижать разрешение видео в формате Blu-ray до 720р, а кроме того, просматривать мультимедийные файлы, хранящиеся в вашей домашней сети.<br /><br />Некоторые игроки продолжают критиковать Sony за плохой уровень обратной совместимости PS3 со старыми играми для предыдущих систем. Например, поклонники Metal Gear Solid так и не смогли поиграть в Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. В ответ на это Лемпел успокоил игроков, отметив, что работы по расширению списка обратной совместимости не прекращаются ни на день - совместимость с играми для PS2 будет только улучшаться.
