Компания Sony анонсировала восемь новых 3LCD-проекторов, предназначенных для конференций и учебных аудиторий. Возглавляет анонс модель VPL-CW125. Она поддерживает широкоформатное разрешение 1280x800 пикселей и имеет яркость 3000 лм. Линейку C-series пополнили еще пять моделей, но, в отличие от флагмана, они поддерживают меньшее разрешение - 1024x768 точек. Яркость, в зависимости от модели, от 2700 до 3500 лм. Часть устройств оборудована сетевым интерфейсом. С его помощью управлять проектором можно через веб-браузер. Более того, после подключения проектора к сети, ему можно присвоить IP-адрес. Это дает возможность отсылать на проектор и показывать изображения из другого города или даже страны, что особенно полезно для дистанционного обучения.

Замыкают список VPL-EX4 и VPL-ES4. Параметры первой модели: разрешение - 1024x768 пикселей, яркость - 2100 лм. Второй - 800x600 пикселей и 2200 лм соответственно. Для подключения предусмотрен широкий набор портов. Здесь есть композитный, аналоговый RGB/компонентный разъемы и S-video. Проекторы имеют короткое фокусное расстояние. К примеру, с их помощью можно получить 80-дюймовое изображение на расстоянии 2,3 м.

Все новинки за исключением VPL-CW125 появятся в продаже с июня по июль, VPL-CW125 прибудет в октябре. Цена проекторов - от $1 тыс. за VPL-ES4 до $3,3 тыс. за VPL-CW125.
