Сегодня японские производители Maxell и TDK сообщили о начале продаж новых одноразово записываемых дисков формата Blu-ray, которые имеют емкость 50 Гб и, соответственно, являются двухслойными.

Носители удовлетворяют стандарту Version 1.1 и обеспечивают скорость записи 1-2х. На один такой диск BD-R DL можно записать:

  • 260 мин. HD-видео;

  • 520 мин. SD-видео;

  • 360 мин. видео с источника цифрового наземного ТВ.


    • Диски Maxell имеют обозначение BDR50V.1P и продаются в упаковке по 10 шт. Цена производителем пока не названа.

    Компания TDK представила не только BD-R DL (50 Гб), но и BD-R SL (25 Гб). Эти носители кроме высокой емкости порадуют любителей хранить видеоколлекции еще и тем, что их поверхность подходит для печати на струйном принтере. По традиции, диски TDK имеют защитный слой DURABIS2, предотвращающий порчу диска вследствие воздействия на него царапин, пыли и грязи. Однослойные диски BDV-R25 в пачках по 10 шт. поступят в продажу 13 июля, а двухслойные BDV-R50S будут доступны поштучно.
