Похоже, подтверждаются слухи о том, что сообщество DivX готовит к выпуску первое устройство под своей маркой. Фотографии коробочки с необычным (как по форме, так и по содержанию) лэйблом GejBox;-) были показаны сайтом www.engadget.com . По сути, устройство представляет собой пробную медиа-приставку для работы с потоковым медиа-контентом поддерживающую некоторые новые наработки DivX.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1181667476_divxgejboxsm.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='DivX представила свое первое устройство и назвала его «GejBox;-)»' /></div><br />  Можно смело утверждать, что в нынешнем виде это устройство на прилавках не появится. Оно должно продемонстрировать производителям мультимедиа-приставок готовность сообщества DivX прийти в этот перспективный сегмент рынка, где пока наиболее заметным игроком является приставка Apple TV. <br />«Лукавая коробка нетрадиционной ориентации» (да простят мне читатели, возможно, не самую удачную попытку перевода названия этого устройства)  содержит несколько интересных возможностей, в новинке присутствуют интерфейсы S/PDIF и HDMI, ну а самый главный конек устройства, это небывалая гибкость в работе с различными медиа-форматами. Помимо поддержи всех существующих потоковых аудио-видео форматов, новинка поддерживает потоковое видео высокой четкости в формате DivX Stage 6, а также имеет программный модуль поддержки Google Video (аналогично поддержке YouTube в приставке Apple TV).<br />
