Новый телевизор от JVC поддерживает полное разрешение высокой четкости (1920 x 1080 пикселей). Контрастность изображения составляет 5000:1. Качественная обработка видеосигнала обеспечивается фирменной технологией D-ILA, а точная цветопередача — 14-битным процессором Genessa, который также отвечает за подавление помех. Для того чтобы изображение было ярким даже при дневном освещении, в устройство помещена ртутная 110-ваттная лампа. Потребляемая мощность телевизора в режиме работы — 220 Вт.

Модель, названная Victor HD-110MH80, оснащена стереодинамиками мощностью 2 x 10 Вт, аналоговым и цифровым ТВ-тюнером и серией разъемов, среди которых два HDMI, компонентный, композитный и аналоговый разъем RGB для подключения компьютера. Также имеется порт для подключения к локальной сети и FireWire для видеокамер.

Габариты телевизора: 254 см в ширину, 178 см в высоту, 94 см в глубину. Особый акцент производитель делает на большом весе телевизора (330 кг) — перед покупкой потребуется выполнить укрепление пола в том месте, где он будет установлен.

Продажи Victor HD-110MH80 начнутся в октябре текущего года, а сделать заказ можно будет уже в июле. Стоимость — $53 тыс.

До этого рекордсменом на рынке телевизоров считалась компания Sharp, которая в январе текущего года на выставке CES 2007 представила ЖК-телевизор с длиной диагонали 108 дюймов. А ранее рекорд принадлежал плазменному 103-дюймовому телевизору Panasonic.
