Компания DivX, чьё имя едва ли нуждается в представлении, опубликовала на своём сайте загадочное объявление, в котором говорится о поиске бета-тестеров «суперсекретной штуковины». Что это за «штуковина», в объявлении, разумеется, не было сказано ровным счётом ничего. Зато спустя несколько дней после публикации один из сотрудников компании, по понятным причинам пожелавший остаться неизвестным, приоткрыл завесу тайны и в двух словах рассказал о том, что интересного готовят сотрудники DivX.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1181405486_125505.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='DivX готовит хардварный сюрприз' /></div><br />По словам инсайдера, компания активно работает над созданием некой мультимедийной телевизионной приставки, которая по функциональности будет схожа с такими устройствами как Apple TV, SlingCatcher и иже с ними. Никаких технических подробностей, равно как и сроков выхода приставки в свет, информатор, увы, не выдал. Тем не менее, американские пользователи очень надеются на то, что загадочный девайс, по меньшей мере, будет поддерживать формат DivX, ведь найти в США бытовые устройства с нативной поддержкой этого формата нынче очень непросто.
