Компания ASUSTeK анонсировала ноутбук ASUS G2Р, позиционируемый как полноценная замена домашнему игровому компьютеру. Конечно, некоторые комплектующие, например монитор 17" с разрешением 1440х900 или процессор Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 могут претендовать на высокий комфорт и производительность. Но вот видеокарта ATI Mobility Radeon X1700 – это уже прошлый век. Покупать сейчас что-либо без поддержки DirectX 10 нецелесообразно.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1178550763_1.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Геймерские ноутбуки от ASUS' /></div><br />Учитывая, что цена будет в районе $1900, лучше подыскать какое-нибудь другое решение, например Asus G1S или G2S. Во-первых, они построены на платформе Santa Rosa. Во-вторых, разрешение мониторов выше: 1680x1080 у 15-дюймового G1S и 1920x1200 у 17-дюймового G2S. В-третьих, видеоподсистема на базе Nvidia GeForce 8600M достаточно производительна и в то же время современна. В-четвертых, 2 Гбайт оперативной памяти, 200 Гбайт дискового пространства и 2-ядерный процессор обеспечат весьма высокие показатели FPS в играх. Да и цена в $2300 ($2560 для G2S) не слишком велика для тех, кто хочет найти полноценную замену домашнему компьютеру.
