Компания Pioneer представила на проходящем в Пекине всемирном форуме IDF свой первый комбо-привод формата Blu-ray под кодовым наименованием BDC-S02. Первые продажи устройства уже начинаются на китайском рынке. Чуть позже привод появится и на рынках других стран по рекомендованной розничной цене около $300.<br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1176904687_124568.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Комбо-привод Blu-ray от Pioneer' /></div><br />Представлял новинку на форуме ведущий менеджер Pioneer в тихоокеанском регионе Шеннон Ю (Shannon Yu). BDC-S02 поддерживает форматы BD-ROM, BD-R, BD-R DL, BD-RE и BD-RE DL, а также, само собой разумеется, классические CD и DVD. По его мнению, в течение 2006-2008 гг. основными пользователями стандартов BD и HD DVD станут люди, чья деятельность так или иначе связана с IT-индустрией. Затем года два уйдет на привыкание лояльных к новинкам потребителей, и только после 2010 года новые форматы завоюют симпатии большинства пользователей.
