Максимальная скорость передачи данных для такого диска составляет 144 Мбит в секунду, то есть в течение 1 минуты можно записать до 1 ГБ информации при записи одно- и двухслойного носителя.<br /><br />В диске применяется новая пленкообразующая технология, благодаря которой удается оттолкнуть оседающую на диске пыль и на 90% снизить количество ошибок по сравнению с традиционными дисками.<br /><br />Носитель будет доступен с объемом 25 и 50 ГБ.<br /><br />Panasonic является лидирующим разработчиком Blu-ray-технологий, а всего оптическими носителями компания занимается уже в течение 35 лет.
