На днях руководство компании Toshiba представило общественности данные о прогнозируемых планах разработки органических электролюминесцентных (OEL) телевизоров. Согласно предварительным прогнозам, первые коммерческие образцы этих продуктов с диагональю 30 дюймов будут доступны уже в 2009 году.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1176742823_45876.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Toshiba представит 30-дюймовые OEL-телевизоры в 2009 году' /></div><br />Президент Toshiba, Атсутоши Нишида (Atsutoshi Nishida), на одном из собраний, состоявшемся 12 апреля, отметил, что ранее компания планировала представить первые широкоформатные OEL-телевизоры в 2015-2016 году, однако в действительности это произойдет намного раньше. Что же касается размеров экранов первых моделей, то диагонали новинок будут превосходить размеры ранее представленных продуктов Toshiba Matsushita Display Technology (TMD). Для справки, 9 апреля TMD анонсировала скорое появление на рынке 21-дюймовых моделей OEL-телевизоров. Однако, как отмечалось выше, инженеры остановятся именно на 30-дюймовых ТВ.
