Это предварительный этап работы, график строительства новых мощностей пока не определен.<br /><br />Об этом рассказал исполнительный вице-президент подразделения и руководитель исследовательского центра LCD Jun H. Souk, выступая на выставке Finetech Japan. Он отметил, что Samsung ведет переговоры относительно размеров пластин с производителями оборудования.<br /><br />Что касается успехов Samsung в запуске производства поколения 8G, представитель компании заверил, что серийный выпуск начнется на два месяца раньше запланированного срока, в августе. Это означает, что готовые продукты на базе новых панелей появятся на рынке к началу 2008 года.<br /><br />Оценивая ситуацию, Souk указал, что количество основных производителей панелей с 2000 года увеличилось с трех до пяти. Пятерка сейчас включает Samsung, LG.Philips LCD, Sharp, AU Optronics и Chi Mei Optoelectronics. Перечисленные участники владеют 75% рынка. Однако, по мнению руководителя LCD-подразделения Samsung, в будущем на рынке будут доминировать только две компании.<br /><br />Показательно выглядит прогноз Samsung относительно того, как будут изменяться темпы роста сегментов рынка панелей для разных приложений в ближайшие годы. Быстрее всего сейчас растут поставки панелей для телевизоров. В текущем году, по сравнению с прошлым годом, этот сегмент увеличится на 56% (панелей для ноутбуков будет поставлено на 23% больше, для мониторов &#8211; на 18%). Видимо сказывается снижение стоимости панелей большого размера, способствовавшее увеличению спроса на телевизоры. Однако насыщение рынка приведет к тому, что уже в 2008 году рост во всех трех сегментах начнет замедляться. «Телевизионных» панелей будет выпущено на 36% больше, чем в текущем, панелей для ноутбуков &#8211; на 16%, а панелей для мониторов &#8211; всего лишь на 5%. В 2009-2010 году ситуация стабилизируется, полагают эксперты Samsung. Ежегодный прирост сегмента панелей для ноутбуков составит 14,4-14,2% , панелей для мониторов - 7%, панелей для телевизоров - 19% и 15%, в 2009 и 2010 году, соответственно.
