(Калифорния). В отличие от плазменных и жидкокристаллических телеприемников, уже широко распространенных на мировом рынке, в этих устройствах будут применены лазерные технологии.<br /><br />Новый вид телевизоров будет иметь целый ряд преимуществ. Помимо более низкой цены (предполагается, что себестоимость лазерных моделей будет вдвое ниже себестоимости плазменных и жидкокристаллических), лазерные новинки должны будут продемонстрировать отличную цветопередачу. В отличие от плазменных и LCD-моделей, способных передать лишь около 35% цветов, видимых человеческим глазом, лазерный экран отобразит гораздо более широкий спектр цветовой палитры. И еще один плюс: в то время, как качество изображения повысится почти в два раза, энергопотребление снизится в четыре.<br /><br />Экраны новых телевизоров, скорее всего, будут выпускаться с диагональю от 40 дюймов и больше. Использовать лазерную ТВ-технологию планируется и проекционных экранах. Правда, системы их крепления на стену пока не продуманы, но вопрос об этом уже поставлен в число главных.<br /><br />Разработкой лазерных телевизоров занимается не только Novalux Inc. В апреле прошлого года Mitsubishi провела презентацию своей новой модели, построенной на базе технологии цифровой обработки света (digital light processing), а на выставке CES 2007, проходившей в январе в Лас-Вегасе, компания Sony представила ряд моделей лазерных телевизоров собственного производства.
