В 2007 году прекратят выдачу лицензий на аналоговое телевещание Мининформсвязи РФ считает необходимым прекратить выдачу лицензий на аналоговое телевещание уже в текущем году, сообщил начальник отдела госполитики в области информационных технологий Министерства информационных технологий и связи РФ Олег Кузнецов. По его словам, исходя из концепции перехода на цифровое вещание, уже к 2012 г. этот переход должен состояться, поэтому рано или поздно выдачу данных лицензий надо прекратить. Олег Кузнецов отметил, что выданные лицензии могут продлеваться, но не более чем до 2012 г.

Олег Кузнецов добавил, что данная позиция будет озвучена на ближайшем заседании правительственной комиссии по цифровому телевещанию, которое может состояться в конце апреля - начале мая 2007 г. Также на этом заседании планируется рассмотреть саму концепцию по переходу на цифровое вещание. После принятия этой концепции основной задачей, по словам представителя Мининформсвязи, будет начало разработки федеральной целевой программы по переходу на цифровое телевидение. Также министерство считает необходимым внести изменения в законодательство, касающееся лицензирования телевещания. Эти изменения связаны с переходом на цифровое вещание, поскольку в данный момент для начала работ компании телевещания надо получить две лицензии, в каждой из которых указываются частоты. А при цифровом ТВ, пояснил Олег Кузнецов, на одной частоте можно передавать от 6 до 12 каналов одновременно, и "привязки к частоте не должно быть в лицензии на само вещание, но должна быть в лицензии на оказание услуг связи".
