Согласно закону, проведенному 31 января, будут определяться пропускные способности каналов high-definition и предоставляться high-definition тюнеры для телевизоров HD-Ready, говорится в отчете Strategy Analytics.
Несмотря на то, что Франция будет рассчитывать на своих производителей и вещателей, выбравших данное направление, принимаемые здесь решения будут иметь значение для других стран Европы. А также важными для этих стран будут уроки, извлеченные из подхода Франции к лицензированию HD-каналов, которое будет проходить здесь в течение следующих нескольких месяцев, пишет Strategy Analytics.
Решения, принятые во Франции, при ее растущем влиянии будут использоваться в других странах Европы для придачи ускорения процессу продвижения в них HDTV на платформе DTT.
"Большинство других европейских стран пока переживают стадию обсуждения проблем, касающихся внедерения HDTV на их собственных DTT-платформах, - сообщает в официальном отчете Дэвид Мерсер, главный аналитик Strategy Analytics. - Франция берет на себя важную инициативу, занявшись вопросами распределения пропускных способностей HDTV-каналов и обеспечением гарантий доставки потребителю этих новых каналов".
Хотя Франция планирует отказаться от аналогового вещания к 30 ноября 2011 года, она не забывает о своих амбициозных целях, являясь главной движущей силой для большинства стран, пока еще зависящих от имеющегося у них на данный момент стандарта вещания.
