Лига предполагает продемонстрировать данную технологию рекламным агентствам и представителям телевизионной индустрии на частном мероприятии в Лас-Вегасе в рамках игр NBA All-Star 2007.<br /><br />Представители NBA говорят, что намерены использовать 3D HD-камеры от Pace, компании, которая работала со знаменитым кинорежиссером Джеймсом Кэмероном на нескольких его 3D HDTV-проектах, включая его документальный фильм о "Титанике", который демонстрировался в сети кинотеатров IMAX.<br /><br />Pace предложит посетителям кинотеатров надеть специальные очки, которые позволят увидеть 3D-эффекты, а также и сам HD-контент.<br /><br />"Это изменит визуальное впечатление, и зритель погрузится в уникальные переживания, увидев все так, как раньше ему видеть не доводилось", - говорит Стив Хеллмут, руководитель производственно-технологического отдела NBA Entertainment, в интервью журналу Broadcasting & Cable.<br /><br />Broadcasting & Cable сообщает, что Лига намерена использовать пять камер от Pace для 3D HDTV-трансляции игр All-Star.<br /><br />Национальная футбольная лига (NFL) также недавно сообщила, что собирается показать несколько игр нынешнего сезона в формате high-definition в кинотеатрах.
