Texas Instruments представила на 3GSM решения для воспроизведения HD-изображения на мобильных телефонахНа пресс-конференции на 3GSM World Congress 2007 корпорация Texas Instruments продемонстрировала первый процессор для воспроизведения видеоизображения в high-definition (HD) формате 720p для мобильных телефонов.
Решение OMAP3430 является также первым процессором для интегрирования недавно представленного графического стандарта OpenGL ES(R) 2.0, обеспечивающего абсолютно естественную, 3D-графику для переносных устройств (handset) и для создаваемых для них мобильных игр, при этом качество изображения вполне сопоставимо с качеством изображения в распространенных сегодня игровых приставках.
Кроме того, Texas Instruments расширила линейку процессоров OMAP 3 - добавив модели OMAP3410 и OMAP3420. Семейство OMAP 3 сможет помочь производителям мобильных телефонов представить на рынок многофункциональные мультимедийные смартфоны по невысоким ценам.
Производители мобильных телефонов смогут создавать многофункциональные модели, основанные на решениях OMAP 3, ориентируясь на различные сегменты рынка, особенно те, где ограничены инвестиции, в частности рынки, предлагающие потребителям мобильные телефоны среднего класса.
