<div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1170858455_034.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Двухформатные DVD-приводы – тупиковое направление?' title='Двухформатные DVD-приводы – тупиковое направление?' /></div><br />Тайваньские производители оптических приводов (ODD) считают, что в связи с последними событиями, произошедшими в отрасли, создание универсальных устройств на базе синего лазера, то есть способных работать с форматами Blu-ray Disc и HD DVD, может задержаться на неопределенный срок. <br /><br />Среди причин, которые могут привести к подобному сценарию, источники в отрасли называют появившиеся не так давно сообщения о том, что в конце 2006 года программистом, скрывающимся под ником «muslix64», была благополучно взломана система шифрования AACS (advanced access content system), применяющаяся на дисках HD DVD. Вслед за этим начала поступать и похожая информация, касающаяся аналогичной системы защиты, использующаяся в носителях Blu-ray Disc (BD). Кроме того, источники указывают на возникшие у ряда вендоров, в частности, LG Electronics, сложности в деле лицензирования стандартов для двухформатных устройств. <br /><br />В начале этого года LG на выставке CES представила проигрыватель Super Multi Blue (модель BH100), а также рекордер Super Multi Blue (GGW-H10N). Первый из приводов является, по заявлению вендора, первым в мире двухформатным устройством способным воспроизводить диски стандартов BD и HD DVD. В свою очередь GGW-H10N может читать носители BD и «прожигать» диски BD-R (для однократной записи) и BD-RE (перезаписываемые) и считывать диски HD DVD. По данным источников, из-за того, что Super Multi Blue может лишь проигрывать диски HD DVD и не поддерживает интерактивные возможности этого формата, LG не получила сертификат от группы HD DVD на обе модели. Кроме того, члены BD Association, в свою очередь, раскритиковали предлагаемые корейской компанией модели. <br /><br />Разочарование LG, вызванное неудачами с продвижением двухформатных устройств, по мнению источников, означает, что разногласия между сторонниками BD и HD DVD усилятся. Кроме того, взлом AACS вынудит группы, занимающиеся развитием BD и HD DVD, разрабатывать новые системы управления или обновить существующие, что приведет к сокращению спектра оборудования, доступного на рынке.
