В марте этого года должны начаться продажи нового Blu-ray плеера от корейской компании Samsung. Модель второго поколения BD-P1200 поддерживает воспроизведение контента высокой четкости (стандарты 1080p, 1080i, 720p) при максимальном разрешении 1920 х 1080 пикселей. Высокое качество изображение обеспечивается процессором HQV.

Устройство оснащается улучшенным цифровой интерфейс HDMI 1.3, и технологией Anynet+, позволяющую гораздо быстрее осуществлять подключение и интеграцию различных устройств (большинство операций теперь можно производить с помощью одной единственной «дистанционки»).
