При их изготовлении используется фирменная технология AZO, позволяющая сократить температурные интерференции при записи, что особенно важно для дисков с высокой плотностью, таких как эти. О скоростных характеристиках новинок не сообщается, но нет оснований полагать, что скорость записи превысит 1х. <br /><br />Напомним, что однослойные HD DVD-R производятся и продаются Verbatim со второго квартала прошлого года. <br /><br />Вторая новинка производителя - это 8-скоростные однослойные диски формата DVD+RW. Их использование позволит сократить время записи на перезаписываемый носитель объёмом 4,7 Гб до восьми минут, или на 40% по сравнению с самыми быстрыми из аналогов, ранее выпускавшихся компанией. <br /><br />Verbatim говорит о том, что ресурс перезаписи таких дисков составляет до 1000 раз.
