22 января в Екатеринбурге началось тестовое телевещание цифрового стандарта: у горожан появилась возможность с помощью специальных приставок смотреть транслируемые в областном центре телепрограммы с улучшенным качеством.<br />Как сообщает "Уралинформбюро", тестирование продлится месяц, в течение которого специалисты будут выявлять, в каких районах цифровой сигнал принимается уверенно, а где с помехами. Предполагается, что потом телевещание нового поколения будет осуществляться уже в рабочем режиме, постепенно распространяясь по региону.<br />В рамках проекта, реализуемого на базе "Областного телевидения", в 59 городах региона будет приниматься 40 телеканалов, трансляцию которых обеспечит специальный центр подготовки программ.<br />По словам губернатора Эдуарда Росселя, в течение двух лет цифровое телевидение будет доступно всем жителям области. Проект также предусматривает создание региональных тематических телеканалов, посвященных культуре, спорту, образованию.
