Всего лишь через неделю после начала продаж телевизионная приставка Apple TV стала бестселлером онлайнового магазина компании. Об этом свидетельствует список самых популярных товаров, продаваемых онлайновым Apple Store (c правой стороны страницы).<br /><br />Судя по этому рейтингу, Apple TV превзошла по продаваемости все модели цифровых плееров Apple iPod, в том числе и суперпопулярный iPod nano.<br /><br />Web-сайт AppleInsider, проведя собственные расчеты и опираясь на предположение, что через свой онлайновый магазин Apple продает лишь 10% плееров iPod, пришел к выводу, что в данный момент количество проданных Apple TV уже может превышать 70.000.<br /><br />Несколько дней назад тайваньское издание DigiTimes сообщило о том, что Apple TV будет выпускаться на мощностях местного OEM-производителя Inventec Appliances. По информации издания, Inventec получила от Apple заказ на производство 100 тыс. Apple TV, а первые партии устройств компания отгрузит уже в конце января.
