Европейский спутниковый оператор Euro1080 объявил о своих планах ввести DTS-кодирование звука в дополнение к недавнему новшеству – MPEG4. Благодаря Coding Technologies стало возможным  включение 5.1-канального аудио-вещания: DTS-сигнал будет помещен «внутрь» aacPlus. Вещание будет вестись совместно с HDTV-картинкой на территорию Европы.
