На предстоящей International CES (8-11 января) LG, корейский производитель потребительской электроники, собирается во всю демонстрировать преимущества FullHD экранов (1080p). Дабы не быть голословными во время демонстрации новой линейки Full HD LCD TV (диагонали 37, 42, 47 и 55 дюймов) LG подписали контракт с Nippon Hoso Kyokai (NHK) и SEGA Enterprises Ltd. (SEGA).

Совместно с NHK, специально для 2007 International CES, будет вестись трансляция первого FullHD-канала. Весь материал, которого снят с помощью новейшей сверхскоростной камеры, идеально подходящей для съемки спортивных мероприятий и живописных видов дикой природы.

«Наши продукты будут интересны всем, кому важны самые современные технологии: любителям кино, геймерам, различным компаниям. Сотрудничество с SEGA, даст прекрасную возможность показать все преимущества 1080p-экранов используя контент от SEGA. – заявил Йонг Чан Ким (Young Chan Kim), вице-президент по глобальному маркетингу и продажам подразделения цифровых дисплеев LG.
В рамках этого сотрудничества на стенде компании будут демонстрироваться последние проекты SEGA для игровых консолей PlayStation3 и Xbox360– Virtua Fighter 5 и Sonic The Hedgehog – обе в разрешении FullHD.
