Сетевое телевидиние (Internet Protocol Television, IPTV) станет основной движущей силой роста рынка проводного оборудования в 2007 году, считает аналитическое агентство iSuppli. Ожидается, что число подписчиков IPTV в следующем году практически утроится, что в свою очередь вызовет серьезный рост спроса на оборудование для проводных сетей и связанных с ним полупроводниковых продуктов.<br /><br />"2007 год станет переломным для IPTV. Данная технология окончательно распрощается с определением "развлечение для энтузиастов" и решительно выдвинется в массовый сектор, - заявил Стив Раго (Steve Rago), ведущий аналитик по сетевой и оптической связи в iSuppli. – Особенно отрадно, что переход IPTV в массовый сектор будет происходить одновременно по всему миру, и многие страны отметят резкий рост числа подписчиков".<br /><br />Ожидается, что число пользователей IPTV увеличится в 2007 году до 14,5 миллионов человек, что составит ошеломляющий рост в 192,4% процента от 4,9 миллиона подписчиков в 2006. Согласно прогнозу iSuppli, число абонентов указанного сервиса 2010 возрастет до 63 миллионов.<br /><br />Возрастут и доходы поставщиков проводного сетевого оборудования, согласно прогнозу до 101,4 миллиардов долларов США в 2007, что составит рост в 7,2 % по отношению к 2006 года. Указанный темп роста практически удваивает 3,7-процентный рост в 2006 по отношению к 2005 году. Рост спроса на сетевое оборудование вызовет и рост спроса на специализированные полупроводниковые продукты. Ожидается, что доходы производителей полупроводниковых продуктов, ориентированных на проводное оборудование, возрастут до 19,4 миллиардов долларов США в 2007 году, что составит 18,3-процентное увеличение по сравнению с 2006 годом.
