Минкультуры и Мининформсвязи РФ пришли к согласию о том, что "приставки к телевизорам для приема цифрового сигнала должны выдаваться населению бесплатно". Об этом сообщил сегодня заместитель руководителя управления телерадиовещания Роспечати Виталий Стыцко. Он выступил на круглом столе, посвященном будущему переходу телевидения в России на цифровой формат, передает ИТАР-ТАСС.<br /><br />Телевизионными приставками, стоимость которых, по словам чиновника, оценивается от 50 до 100 долл, предстоит обеспечить около 50 млн семей.<br /><br />Представитель ВГТРК Валентин Хлебников отметил, что на "переход на цифровое вещание, прежде всего, позволит решить проблему информационного неравенства граждан России". По его данным, "сейчас только 60 проц российских семей могут принимать больше 3 телепрограмм, а в 30 тыс населенных пунктов из 150 тыс вообще нет телевидения". Цифровой формат дает новые возможности доставки телевизионного сигнала и удешевляет ее.<br /><br />Особенность внедрения нового стандарта в России, сказал В.Хлебников, состоит в том, "что здесь нужно создавать прежде всего систему эфирного цифрового вещания. Это объясняется тем, в России 88 процентов семей получают телевизионный сигнал с эфира, тогда как в развитых странах большинство пользуются кабельным телевидением ".<br /><br />Замдиректора Московского телевизионного института Константин Быструшкин отметил, что переход на цифровое вещание "дает уникальный шанс для отечественной промышленности, так как встанет вопрос о замене примерно 90 млн аналоговых телевизоров". К.Быструшкин напомнил, что "для обеспечения преференций своим производителей Япония и Китай приняли собственные стандарты цифрового ТВ, а ЕС защищает свой рынок таможенными барьерами".<br /><br />Участники круглого стола рассказали, что цифровое телевидение обеспечивает доставку телевизионного сигнала без искажений, позволяет зрителям получать больше каналов и дополнительные услуги, дает возможность развития телевидения высокой четкости.
