Для продвижения линейки видеокарт APOGEE для энтузиастов, Walton Chaintech Corporation приняла решение комплектовать часть партии видеокарт GAE76GS и GAE73GT серии APOGEE, выпущенные с 1 сентября до 30 сентября 2006 года, бесплатными 128-Mб SD картами.

Новые продукты линейки APOGEE обладают улучшенными техническими характеристиками, а также высокоэффективной бесшумной системой охлаждения Zalman, что позволяет им достигать более высокой производительности и стабильности в 3D-играх, а также при просмотре HD-видео.
На представленные видеокарты APOGEE устанавливаются специально отобранные графические процессоры и чипы DDR3 памяти, стабильно работающие на повышенных частотах.  Видеокарты обладают всеми современными игровыми технологиями, дающими возможность поиграть в новые HD-игры и посмотреть домашнего кинотеатра. 

Кроме этого, новые адаптеры имеют два DVI входа, позволяющие использовать два широкоэкранных дисплея с разрешением до 2560x1600 пикселей. Видеокарты поддерживают последнюю 3-ю версию пиксельных шейдеров, применяющих усовершенствованные шейдерные программы для достижения более реалистичного эффекта в играх.  Также, 
новые видеокарты APOGEE полностью поддерживают технологию NVIDIA PureVideo, которая за счет функции видеопроцессора и программного обеспечения обеспечивает равномерное сглаживание, просмотр высококачественного видео H.264, WMV, и MPEG-2 фильмов с минимальной нагрузкой на центральный процессор компьютера и низким энергопотреблением.  В дополнение, видеокарты полностью поддерживают новую 
ОС Windows Vista, предоставляя пользователям новый 3D-интерфейс.

Благодаря DDR3 памяти, новые видеокарты серии APOGEE даже в процессе нагрузки использует низкое энергопотребление. В отличие от подобных карт, где для охлаждения используются вентиляторы, каждая видеокарта APOGEE оснащена алюминиевым вентилятором Zalman, обеспечивающим 
хороший теплоотвод, работая на низких оборотах в бесшумном режиме.
Возможно, вскоре сэмплы указанных карт на базе 7600GS и 7300GT из новой серии APOGEE 
появятся в нашей лаборатории, так что ожидаем результаты испытаний!
