Сегодня Seagate Technology заявила о своем намерении поставлять новые 750-гигабайтные жесткие диски серии DB35 производителям цифровых видеорекордеров, которые придут на смену использующимся накопителям компании в 250, 320, 400 и 500 Гб.

Напомним, что на данный момент, модель Seagate Barracuda 7200.10, использующая перпендикулярный способ записи, является самым большим по объему накопителем. Barracuda 7200.10 производится в трех вариантах SATA 3 Гбит/с, SATA 1,5 Гбит/с и ATA/100. Ожидается, что пользователи смогут записывать до 750 часов стандартного TV или 125 часов HDTV (телевидения высокой четкости).
