Компания Cannon выпустила две портативные видеокамеры с тремя 1,67-мегапиксельными CCD-датчиками и - Canon HD Video Camera Recorder XH A1 E и Canon HD Video Camera Recorder XH G1 E - создает предпосылки для более эффективной работы профессиональных пользователей благодаря возможности применения формата 1080i для передачи изображения высокой чёткости (HDV).
Компания Canon пополняет модельный ряд универсальных видеокамер высокой четкости, флагманом которого является модель XL H1 и который предназначен для независимых кинематографистов, видеожурналистов, продакшн-студий и аппаратно-студийных блоков. Новые модели помогают компании занять ключевую позицию на быстрорастущем рынке видеозаписи высокой четкости. В модели XH A1 "эффект фильма" достигается благодаря съемке со скоростью 25F (25 кадров в секунду) и специальной настройке гамма-коррекции Cine. Модель XH G1 предлагает дополнительные возможности подключения к студийному оборудованию и относится к новой категории товаров.
