Корпорация VIA представила новый чипсет для UMPC систем. Логика VX700 совместима с VIA C7-M процессорами. Размеры северного и южного моста упакованного в один корпус составляют 35x35 мм. Решение имеет UniChrome Pro II IGP графику, поддержку MPEG-2, MPEG-4 и WMV9 форматов. Кроме этого, устройство может работать со всеми LCD, CRT и HDTV дисплеями, DDR и DDR2 памятью и имеет SATA II, PATA, USB 2.0 и PCI совместимость.
