Компания Dream Multimedia анонсировала новый спутниковый DVB-ресивер DM8000. Новинка оснащена цифровым HDMI-интерфейсом и по желанию пользователя может быть доукомплектована жёстким диском и DVD-рекордером. Аппарат оборудован четырьмя тюнерами: двумя DVB-S2, одним кабельным и одним эфирным, при этом в пресс-релизе указывается совместимость с HDTV-форматом. Как и в остальных продуктах данной компании, программное  обеспечение DM8000 представляет собой ОС Linux. Вся необходимая информация о канале и текущих настройках выводится на OLED-дисплей.<br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/hdtvimg/702_dream_multimedia-dm8000.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Dream Multimedia DM8000 — новый спутниковый DVB-ресивер с богатыми функциональными возможностями' /></div><br /><br />Среди остальных характеристик ресивера можно отметить два слота для модулей условного доступа, встроенный считыватель карт CF и SD, сетевую карту и  слот miniPCI. Помимо HDMI из коммуникационных интерфейсов в наличии два SCART, S-Video и компонентный видеовыходы, а также три USB. В розничной продаже DM8000 ожидается в начале следующего года в чёрном и серебристом цветовых вариантах по рекомендованной розничной цене 800 евро.
