омпании BenQ и Philips продемонстрировали в ходе выставки Computex 2006 продукты с поддержкой стандарта Blu-ray.<br />Привод BenQ может читать и записывать диски нового формата. Пока не разглашаются ни сроки выпуска устройства, ни его технические характеристики, ни ориентировочная стоимость. Однако заявляется, что цена привода будет сравнима со стоимостью продуктов конкурентов. Хотя BenQ и выпустила привод формата Blu-ray, в компании не исключают возможность выпуска и устройств, поддерживающих формат HD DVD. Более того, в BenQ полагают, что рано или поздно всё равно придётся поддерживать оба формата. так как будут пользоваться спросом универсальные приводы,  сообщает Digital World Tokyo.<br />Компания Philips представила привод TripleWriter SPD7000, поддерживающий формат Blu-ray. Устройство работает не только с BD-R, BD-RE, но и со всеми CD-, DVD-дисками. причём как однослойными, так и двуслойными. В комплекте поставляется программный пакет Nero 7. В розничной продаже новинка появится в конце лета по цене в 850 евро.<br />Кроме того, компания Philips продемонстрировала образцы "болванок" Blu-ray, которые поступят в продажу в сентябре. Однослойный диск BD-R обойдётся в 15 евро, а BD-RE - 20 евро,  сообщает Trusted Reviews.<br />
