Помимо новых моделей плазменных телевизоров, компания Hitachi представила четыре новых LCD-панели. В линейке UltraVision HLT79 выйдут две модели — 32HLT79 и 37HLT79 (32" и 37" соответственно). Основная особенность новинок — частота обновления экрана в 120 Гц.<br />Как и плазменные модели, анонсированные на днях, LCD-телевизоры используют видеопроцессор нового поколения PictureMaster HD III. Все аппараты имеют четыре режима для видео высокого разрешения (HD) и шесть — для стандартного (SD). Есть функции "картинка-в-картинке" (PIP) и разделения экрана. Устройства оборудованы тюнерами ATSC и NTSC и поддерживают цифровое кабельное ТВ CableCARD. Мощность стереосистемы — 2 х 20 Вт.<br />32HLT79 и 37HLT79 оборудованы компонентными и HDMI видеовходами, по три каждого типа. Они появятся в продаже в ноябре по цене 2200 и 2700 долларов за 32HLT79 и 37HLT79 соответственно.<br />Топовая линейка UltraVision HLX99 Director's Series также включает 32" и 37" ТВ — 32HLX99 и 37HLX99. Эти ТВ отличаются наличием интерактивной функции TV Guide On Screen, дизайном и пультом дистанционного управления Illuminated Roll & Click Remote, который позволяет регулировать громкость и переключать каналы с помощью колёсиков. Модели 32HLX99 и 37HLX99 поступят в продажу в ноябре и октябре, по цене 2500 и 3000 долларов соответственно.
