Компания Samsung анонсировала два новых плазменных телевизора, в которых будет использована патентованная технология Filterbright. Это антибликовое покрытие, поглощающее внешний свет, и прозрачное в обратном направлении. Filterbright не только устраняет блики, но увеличивает контрастность изображения. ТВ новой линейки, 42-дюймовый HP-S4273 и 50-дюймовый HP-S5073, имеют уровень яркости порядка 1300-1500 кд/м&#178; и контрастность 10 000:1. Сообщается о 13-битной видеообработке, что теоретически расширяет цветовой диапазон до примерно 549 миллиардов оттенков.<br />Экраны телевизоров имеют соотношение сторон 16:9 и угол обзора по вертикали и горизонтали 175°. Коммутационные возможности представлены двумя HDMI и компонентными видеовходами, кроме того, имеется кардридер "9-в-1".<br />Новинки поступят в продажу в июле 2006 года по цене 3300 долларов за HP-S4273 и 4300 долларов - за HP-S5073.
