Компания Acer планирует представить ноутбуки с оптическими приводами нового поколения. На выставке Computex 2006, которая начнётся 6 июня, должны быть представлены мобильные ПК Acer с Blu-ray и HD-DVD-приводами. Также компания намерена представить 42-дюймовый ЖК-телевизор. Сама компания никак не комментирует появление новых ноутбуков. Тем не менее, слухи, наверное, похожи на правду. В любом случае, на выставке Computex 2006 будет различные производители покажут немало новинок с Blu-ray и HD-DVD. Что касается ЖК-телевизоров, что Acer серьёзно занимается их распространением. В прошлом году производитель реализовал всего 150 тыс. ЖК-телевизоров. Первоначально Acer планировала сбыть в этом году 500 тыс. ЖК-телевизоров, но пересмотрела свои планы. Теперь производитель надеется сбыть около 1 млн. единиц ЖК-телевизоров.
