Ждать, пока стандарт HDTV завоюет мир, осталось недолго. Пионерами по поддержке разрешения 1920x1080 точек являются США и Япония. Однако, популярность HDTV с каждым днём становится всё выше и в Европе.<br>Обзавестись новыми телевизорами имеет смысл перед Чемпионатом мира по футболу 2006. Телекомпании обещают вести HDTV-трансляции. Не секрет, что спрос на HDTV-телевизоры увеличится и благодаря ёмким Blu-ray и HD-DVD дискам, которые недавно появились в продаже. Новые стандарты DVD дисков позволяют сохранять фильмы в высоком разрешении. Примечательно, что японская ТВ-компания NHK не стала ждать, пока HDTV захватит мир, а сообщила общественности спецификации Ultra HD. Разрешение нового стандарта в 16 раз выше - 7680x4320 точек или 32 МП. Битрейт Ultra HD - примерно 640 Мбит/c, для сравнения, HDTV сигналы требуют 15-30 Мбит/с канал. Если невероятно высокое ТВ-разрешение уже не способно удивить сегодняшнего обывателя, то многоканальная поддержка звука всё ещё остаётся в диковинку. Что вы скажете о 24 каналах звука (22.2), которые будут реализованы в Ultra HD? Сегодня в мире уже существует пара профессиональных Ultra HD камер, которые построены на процессорах VP-8400 от Astrodesign. Потребители доступ к Ultra HD смогут получить не раньше 2025 года. Тем не менее, подчеркнём, - появилась новая вершина в ТВ-индустрии. Впрочем, не забывайте, мы живём в 21 веке, так что в 2025 году, возможно, об Ultra HD никто уже и не вспомнит - все будут использовать 3D-дисплеи.
