Компания Apple ведет переговоры с киностудиями о выпуске на носителях Blu-ray фильмов в формате, поддерживаемом плеером iPod.<br /><br />В Apple хотят быть уверены, что к тому моменту, когда на рынок выйдет следующее поколение iPod, для плееров найдется обширная фильмотека. Меж тем, первые фильмы на носителях Blu-ray появяться в следующем месяце.<br /><br />Аналитики отмечают, что у Apple есть все шансы добиться выпуска совместимого с iPod контента на Blu-ray. Компания находится в довольно хороших отношениях с Sony (одним из сильнейших сторонников лагеря Blu-ray) и киностудией Disney, купившей в начале года у Apple анимационную студию Pixar.<br /><br />В каком разрешении будут выпускаться фильмы для iPod, если договоренность будет достигнута, пока не известно.
